Stammering is not a disease , so it cannot be cured by a medicine. It is a habit and requires time. Don't expect that it can be cured overnight. It needs patience and a lot of patience.
We shall go step by step , and remember never be over confident after each step. For e.g. You mastered step 1 so you think you can jump to step 5 or something directly. No , that's not the way.
The first step is slow down the speech. Slow down the speech as slow as speaking each letter separately . For e.g. The Earth Is Round.....Speak it slowly like T-h-e E-a-r-t-h i-s R-o-u--n-d.
Extend vowels while speaking any sentence. Loudly read from a book or newspaper everyday. Practice this until you feel confident enough that you can speak without stammering with this speed. Then Slowly increase the speed. But ,again, Don't increase it too much.
Secondly, Do exercises to increase the breathe intake. Deep Breathing is a good example of this.
Remember The more you breathe - the less you stammer.
